On the occasion of the 6th edition of the International Society for Applied Phycology (ISAP) , 500 scientists, industrialists and decision-makers from the micro- and macro-algae sector will meet from June 18 to 23 in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).
The world's leading specialists and industrialists will take part in around one hundred conferences, round tables and workshops organized according to four themes: Biology (algal biology, strains selection, biodiversity, etc.); Processes (photobiotechnology, biorefinery, modeling, etc.); Industry (industrial ecology, technico-economics, regulation, intellectual property, new markets, etc.); and Applications (ingredients, aquaculture, 3rd generation biofuels, green chemistry, biobased materials, etc.).
This edition will host, for the first time, Business to Business (B2B) meetings between academics and industry to promote the assembly of collaborative projects.
Tours of the R & D and laboratory platforms in Nantes, Saint-Nazaire and Bouin are also planned.
